Immersive Yoga Nidra Workshop

This Immersive Yoga Nidra Workshop is a two-day workshop which dives deep into advanced yoga nidra practice, teaching you how to design your own nidra, work with self analysis, and develop a practice which provides deep relaxation, connection, and a way to understand our behaviour.
Yoga nidra is a state of consciousness that allows the conscious mind to observe the subconscious mind while staying aware and awake. With intentional practice, you can easily design your own nidras which help anything from, recovering from burnout, reprogramming negative behavioural patterns, creative problem solving, and even release from trauma.
Not always so serious, the practice is a great way to find creative freedom and play in an intense state of relaxation.
Completely safe, you are always fully in control and lucid, and in fact this practice is a way to gain a deeper sense of confidence in your own mind.

About the Teacher:
Rebecca learnt yoga nidra while living in an ashram in India, under Swami Yogaratna Saraswati, who is one of the biggest advocates for advanced yoga nidra practice.
At the time, a friend of hers was deeply upset that she couldn't continue to afford her therapy sessions which were helping her cope with the death of her father. Finding that so many people were in this position of not being able to afford/find the right therapist, she noticed that yoga nidra is a deeply personal practice, and with the right tools, can accomplish many of the same benefits as therapy, if not all.
This workshop attempts to give these tools to each student so that they are able to build a new relationship with themselves and deepen their self-enquiry practice.
Rebecca co-wrote a book on advanced yoga nidra with Swami Yogaratna, which is currently in editing.

Attendance on both the Saturday and Sunday is necessary. If you are unable to make one of the days, it's best to wait until we hold another workshop.
Yoga Nidra is a completely still practice that involves no movement, so is suitable for all physical abilities. Unlike asana yoga which involves movement, yoga nidra is all in the mind.
